by McDonnell Douglas Corporation . It is
an upgraded version of the DC-9
Boeing bought the
company in 1997, changed its name to new Boeing 717

Designed
in 1970, and was flown for first time in the October 18,
1979, it is an upgraded version of DC
9, and the first flight was in April 8,
1963. Swiss Airlines was the first to use this
plane in October 5, 1980, known under the name
of DC -9 Super 82
